Workspace Menus
File Menu
The File menu has the following options.
- Save selected EnterpriseServlet This saves the current state as a Composer file for the Enterprise Servlet that is currently selected. Source code is not generated. Any part belonging to a Servlet may be selected for this to work. Parts inside the Recycling Bin or Copier will not be saved.
- Generate selected EnterpriseServlet code This saves the current generated Java code for the selected Enterprise Servlet, but does not save the current state of the Servlet. Any part belonging to a Servlet may be selected to select a Servlet. Parts inside the Recycling Bin or Copier will not generate code.
- Save and Generate code for selected EnterpriseServlet This saves a composer file and the current generated Java code for the selected Servlet. Parts inside the Recycling Bin or Copier will not be saved or generate code.
- Save all EnterpriseServlets This is equivalent to choosing Save Selected EnterpriseServlet for each Servlet which is open in the Composer.
- View code for selected EnterpriseServlet... This opens a new code Viewer window which displays the current generated Java code for the selected Servlet. Note that this window is not updated when the composer is changed.
- Close selected EnterpriseServlet This closes the selected Servlet. It will be removed from the Composer and the Parts tree. Users will be given an opportunity to save their changes. A closed Servlet may be opened again from the IDE. If the selected Enterprise Servlet is the last Servlet in the Enterprise Composer, then the Enterprise Composer Window will be closed as well. The Recycling Bin and Copier are not emptied when the Enterprise Composer window is closed.
- Exit This closes all the Enterprise Servlets open in the Composer. All, some, or none of the Enterprise Servlets may be saved depending on your selection in the Exit Dialog.
