Parts Menu

The Parts menu has the following options.

• Convert to a Generic Module The current part is converted into a Generic Module. This is useful if you want to change the way a Module works, but there isn't an option for what you want to do in the Module's nodes. All of the code which the Module generates will be accessible in the new Generic Module. A copy of the unchanged part is placed in the Recycling Bin in case you change your mind.
• Copy Module The current part is copied. The copy will have "Copy_of_" prepended to its name (to prevent name collisions) and will appear beneath the current part in the tree.
• Recycle the current part The current part is moved to the Recycling bin if possible. Note that built-in nodes cannot be moved to the recycling bin.
• Empty Recycling Bin The Recycling bin is emptied. Any parts which were previously in the bin will become unavailable.
