Mac OS X 10.1
The distribution for Mac OS X is a .dmg.gz file, named simpent.dmg.gz. To install, double-click the simpent.dmg.gz file in the Finder. This should open up Stuffit Expander, which will decompress the file. Double-click on the resulting simpent.dmg disk image to open it. A new disk image called "Simplicity Install" will appear on your desktop. Open this and drag the folder inside named "Simplicity Enterprise" onto your hard drive.
OS/2 Warp
The distribution is called simpent.zip. Unzip this file using an unzip utility, being careful to maintain the directory structure. Execute the simpwps.cmd Rexx script to create a Program Object on your desktop for starting Simplicity.
Linux, Solaris, AIX, IRIX, SCO UnixWare, and Other Unix
Simplicity is distributed as a .tar.gz file, named simpent.tar.gz. To install, copy the distribution to your user directory and execute the following commands to unpack the archive:
