The clipboard protocol provides multiple MIDlets an easy means of exchanging information. Any MIDlet may open a connection to the clipboard, and write data. All writes to the clipboard will overwrite anything that was previously stored. Any MIDlet may subsequently read the contents of the clipboard.
and nothing should follow the colon. Opening Input or Output streams will allow reading from or writing to the clipboard.
