Welcome to Simplicity for Palm OS Platform. This tutorial will guide you through creating a simple To do list using Simplicity.

By completing this tutorial you will learn about

• Managing files in the IDE
• Building a MIDlet
• Creating code using the Code Sourcerer

It is estimated that this tutorial should take most people between 30 and 40 minutes to complete. All of the details in this tutorial are designed to highlight important functionality, so try to read and follow each part carefully.

A Simple To Do List

If you haven't already done so, start Simplicity for Palm OS Platform in the manner appropriate for your operating system (see page 3). The Simplicity IDE should be on the screen. If you are using Windows, and a Command window (white text on a black background) is visible, you may minimize it.
